I'm not totally sure I'm in the right forum, if I'm wrong please let me know where to turn if someone can help me with this.
I was reinstalling winXP on a compaq mini 110c 1011SO following instructions online which had worked great, then I started adding the drivers from HP's site to get the sound and everything going. Then I added something called winflash from the HP site, but I really shouldn't have done that.
It seems I've killed the computer.
It refuses to start when I press the on button. From what it seems when I google this I guess I killed the BIOS with that damn winflash. Gah, should have googled it before adding it, thought it was ok since I got it from the official HP site with the chipset and audio etc.
Does anyone know if I can reboot the bios somehow? I have no external CD/DVD. :-/
I got the netbook really cheaply so I'm not crying blood over this, but it was a handy little computer and I would very much like to have it back somehow.
I would very much appreciate any advice I can get on this.
