I got the latest update from C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\Update Had a look at at Procman and there were some differences between the local administrator and a domain user. These entries were missing HKU\S-1-5-21-909688099-2504575593-4055199831-12841_CLASSES\Applications\onedrive.exe HKCR\Applications\OneDrive.exe HKU\S-1-5-21-909688099-2504575593-4055199831-12841_CLASSES\Applications\OneDrive.exe don't know id this means anything to anyone?

One computer or several? All computers What happens if you try to run the client manually? Tells me that a newer version is installed Anything in the event logs? Not that I can see, though coulc be looking in the wrong area. Does procmon show anything obvious? Will have a look. What if you restart the machine and only log on as a domain user? If I logon as any domain user it does not run. Logon as local administrator and it does run. What if you make the domain user a member of administrators? No difference. What if you re-install the client? It won't as it says that there is a newer version installed.

Using Windows 10 and the onedrive client for small business When logged on as the computer administrator the onedrive client starts and gives you the option to logon to onedrive. Any domain user that logs on does not get the onedrive client running so has no access to onedrive. Was working through and has now stopped. Have given all users access to the administrators folders. Is sysprep breaking something? Or am I missing or not doing something?

It was called just plain Administrator

Using this command Delprof2.exe /q /d:25 /ed:admin* it has gone and deleted all the Administrator accounts on the computers Seems strange as it has been running for weeks only delted them yesterday. Any idea of what the command should have been to avoid this happeing again?

Can report that it seems to be one of the settings in the preferences that was the cause. But if this is the case then why were the students not affected?

Tried a reset and still the same. Have seen that issue with Edge too. On 11.0.30 I think it might be a group policy. Moved the computer and user to plain OU's and deleted the Default domain policy. Still the same result, after a reset IE working well. Put the default domain policy back and I have the same fault back. This time I copied the settings in the reset advanced settings page into the preference settings of IE in the default domain policy. Will let you know the outcome.

Suddenly getting IE11 showing a white screen and crashing when it is being opened. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator" lets you open it, but then showing all the addons as being incompatible. If you untick "Enable Protected Mode" on the security tab then it opens and runs fine, Also showing all the addons as being incompatible. Try running with all addons off still crashes. This has only started this week. Seems to only be affecting Win 10 users not Win 7 users. Have gone through my GPO's but cannot see anything there. Has anyone else seen this?

I have been having a lot of problems with GPO’s not applying, go into event Viewer and there are a lot of “The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file \\(DOMAINNAME)\SysVol\(DOMAINNAME)\Policies\{Varies}\gpt.ini from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may not be applied until this event is resolved” Error 1058. After 4 days fixed it Bloody Microsoft, they have changed a setting in Windows 10. Just in case you come across GPO’s not being available here is the fix. I have switched from education to the enterprise version and found that I could use the copyprofile command and that shortcuts that we want are sticking to startmenu All was going well until I found out that onedrive is broken for all users except the local administrators. Someone else with the problem https://winpeguy.wordpress.com/2015/11/03/win10-unattend-xml-copyprofile-and-onedrive/ I have found out that once the computer is on the domain if I give authenticated users permission to the local administrator's appdata folder it all works. How ever sysprep strips this permission away. Has anyone had this problem and found a fix? Thinking of putting the computer on the domain before I sysprep, adding the permission and seeing if it holds. But I believe that this is not the correct thing to do? Peter

Are you using the copy profile command in sysprep? if so I believe that is causing your grief.

Is there a list somewhere of what is not included?

Can you then install the fancy bits that you want? If you can do this is it via Windows update or the store?

Yes I agree. Just tried running the sysprep without the copyprofile=true and the failing laptop is fine. I hope they fix this soon. The start menue look awfull as I have removed all the modern apps. Might have to start using GPO to add the shortcuts back in.

Copyed the pre-syspred image onto the faulting laptop ran update and it installed a few new updates, syspreped but still the same results this is an Acer Travelmate P253M. Yet the same image on all the other Acer laptops we have is fine!

We seem to have narrowed it down to one perticular laptop. will know more in the morning. But we did use copyprofile and did update it before it was syspreped.
