    Check the hosts file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc . Make sure that the hosts file is not redirecting all Internet requests to 127.0.0.1 . Would also try to reset Winsock and Winsock 2 in tcp/ip stack. NETSH is a command line util to reset tcp/ip stack to default. Hope this helps
