I might upset a few people here but I found a way round the master password problem. Take off the bit of plactic just above the keyboard and you'll see a dipswitch with 2 switches on it. Set the second dipswitch (the one at the back) to the opposite position, power back on and the machine will boot and you can get into the BIOS etc fine.
