  1. Hi there, Thanks for the reply, there are only 2 power leads to the motherboard Mark
  2. Hi Everyone, This is my first post to this forum so please bear with me. My friend gave me a computer which he bought some time ago, he plugged in in some months later to find it never worked. I have brought it home to try and fix it for him but i'm a little stuck and could do with being pointed in the right direction. Once plugged in to the mains the pc will not power up at all. The PSU has been changed and i know this one works as it's been swapped from a working pc. The green power light comes on inside the pc which is part of the motherboard. I have tried changing the switch and this also never worked, i'm unsure as the correct switch positions for the power switch located on the motherboard and have tried numerous combinations again with a power switch from a working computer. The motherboard is an Intel D850MV Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be as it's very frusrating. Kind Regards Mark Swan
