We introduced a bug in 7.4.1.5 where the teacher app was starting too early and not picking up the channel. It has been fixed and will be available today in 7.4.1.7. Sorry for the inconvenience! Ben

This is Ben from LanSchool. The later versions of LanSchool should not have this problem. The student software slightly moves the mouse and moves it back so that it will keep the screen saver from coming on. I'd recommend logging into the customer portal and downloading the latest eligible version and let me know if that resolves your problem. Thanks, Ben

You are correct. Channel 0 will only be able to see all channels if they have the same password. From the teacher machine you can switch between classrooms on the fly by changing the channel and typing in the appropriate password for that channel. Hope that helps... Ben

In v7.1 you can allow taskmgr.exe in the allowed list and when you limit applications it will enable task manager. We have a new release that comes out in about a week and a half that will include a check box to allow task manager so teachers will not need to know taskmgr.exe. I hope that helps... Ben
