About jbt52

  1. For CompTIA, Cisco, PMI, Linux and more. All for free Free Practice Tests | KnowledgeBuster.com
  2. Google is taking over the world, I am sure you all heard about Google+ by now?
  3. I prefer self study 100% It is cheaper, easier IMO, and a lot more flexible. For example, you can get videos, software, audios and what you need for less than a few hundred dollars vs the undreds-thousands when taking a course or bootcamp. But it does depend a lot on you. There are good free resources as well. Look into some at CertGuard | IT Certification Exam Security & Integrity as they rank good online and bootcamp sites where you could then compare prices
  4. Security is a trending area, but that also means a lot of competition, esp for someone just starting out. If you have very little experience and knowledge, the best place to start is with the CompTIA A+ certification. I tend towards self study rather than classrooms or bootcamps, as they are cheaper, easier and more convenient. You really need to get a good grasp of what areas you are truly best in and love, so that is where you will excel. Try looking at a few different courses to see what suits your fancy so you can narrow down one specific area.
  5. Completely free, no registration required. Instant access, tons of titles such as CCNA, PMP, CompTIA, CISSP, VMWare, Microsoft & more Free Practice Tests | KnowledgeBuster.com
  6. Wow, wonder what made them decide to do that
