  1. I too need to block this or something like. we use a mandatory profile, I tried running it in the profile. but it seems machine specific. or I may be wrong. any one know the registry key it changes when you turn the thing off? Kids can search for all manner of stuff when they put in "Childsname is"!!
  2. If memory serves me mate, the RM One has "Pressure tested front buttons" and "Scratch resistant paint"! Have seen some in a special school in staffordshire. seems the kids respected the abit more because they well different!! They were only Behavioural needs, i work in a Severe school at the mo, we have 7 PC's in total, and about 15 or 20 laptops and a server. There are <50 kids in total!!
  3. I have a little issue with an APC UPS1000I unit. Basically the battery is dead for want of a better word! According to the APC Software it's 4.84 years old! Just wondered if it's worth changing or should we buy a new unit? It's powering one DC - A Dell Poweredge 1800 and a Dell TFT. That's all. Any Suggestions, Advice, etc.... Have looked on Ebuyer.com and the 1500 is £182.82 +vat and a 1000 like we have is £236.92 +vat ish! both are free delivery because it's over £49 if we can wait a week for it. Don't matter really, cos i aint here again till 2 weeks today, altho the have their own technician!
  4. I have an Orange SPV M3100 it's basically an HTC Tytn/Hermes/Whatever! it came with WM5 on, but I found the XDA Developers site, and flashed it to WM6, if you use a 2GB card like me and use Sprite Backup, you can re-flash the phone with new ROM's as and when there are any tested ones!! take a looka at :http://www.xda-developers.com/ and http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes Simon.
  5. My past experiences of this company have been a good, cheap, decent , honest machine!! A school I used to work at , bought 10 Mikesoft pc's, we told them they were for RM CC3, they put an Intel Pro E1000 NIC in there as well!! not sure if they charged extra for it! They seem to use Foxconn Cases and Boards, Microsoft Black PS2 keyboards and USB mice and a standard 17" TFT! All seemed robust, sturdy, etc... Just what we were after!! And no I Do Not work for them, they pproached the school, they have bought a few things now! Technical guy was helpful aswell (Which is nice)!
