I followed your directions for doing this install, but instead of a transforms I just edited the .msi using Orca. I am doing iTunes 10.2.2.14 and am having issues with the iTunes part of this.
Quicktime installs perfectly via SCCM, but when it installs iTunes and I open it for the first time, it pops up a box that is trying to either repair or install the MSI. The box says the following:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
"Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below."
I want to note that I tried the following:
Using the same exact command to install, I installed it 1. Manually from an admin Command prompt as well as via a vbscript that was launched from an admin command prompt.
When installing it using these methods, everything was perfect. iTunes opened straight away, no MSI box popped up and it just worked.
I put the command into SCCM and everything installs (No MSI installer errors in the logs), *but* I get the box described above and it refuses to install since I am not caching it. I suspect this is due to being installed in a different context from an admin command prompt, but I'm not sure what I need to do in order to get this to work as nicely as it does with when installed via command prompt.
