  1. Hi guys, Just thought I would share my university experience with everyone. I went to Anglia Ruskin university and would advise anyone to think carefully about the university they choose before making any decision. ARU (as it's known) decided to calculate my degree in the final year only, meaning that around 75% of my degree did not contribute towards my final degree class. Depending on your subject 95% of degree's the second year counts...it's your money. In the hope I have shared this with you so that don't make the same mistake. They have since changed it so that the second year counts. Good luck with whatever you decide to do...and remember it pays to be cynical! Lee
  2. Hey guys I have not enrolled on a course with Computeach but they seem to have many unhappy students...go on Youtube or facebook to do some research on them. Most of the videos I looked at of Computeach had the comments' section either disabled or needed to be 'approved'. Some things need no explanation. NITLC are not much better as I know people currently studying with them that would not recommend them to anyone else. Go to the colleges / universities...as they are regulated / assessed by independant bodies such as 'The National Students Survey'....and they will not give you any crap about walking into a job with ease.
  3. Hi I did the A+ at NITLC and I would not recommend them to a friend. I really do regret enrolling for a few reasons. All they were really interested in was getting me enrolled and taking my money. They don't care whether the course is right for you or whether you are capable at all. As someone that comes from a limited IT background I should have asked more questions but they just kept discussing with me the payment options and how I was going to pay for the course. Less than a quarter of the time was spent actually discussing the contents of the courses, career progression and studying methods. I would have also benefited from an induction instead of just being left to my own devices. I know they are distance learning courses but they should make sure you are on the right track. I suffer from dsylexia and I tried to have extra time awarded but NITLC did nothing to help me have this time given. They do not even have anyone that specialises in special needs / special requirements for the exams. There are people out there that are in wheelchairs or have learning difficulties and NITLC do nothing to accomodate them. Facebook and Youtube are good places to start for your research prior to enrolling. My username is guitar999able if you want to see videos about A+ / Mike Meyers / Computeach / NITLC (Some of the best videos are on my favourites) Good luck with it all and remember because we are in a recession everyone is ripping each other off!!!!
