hi all,
im new to the forum, i have some experience with ftp, but am stuck with the following problem...
i have setup an ftp server succesfully and i have created accounts correctly for users to ftp files (as backups) to and all is ok...
i am now writing scripts for the users to ftp to the server to the corresponding directories... all ok so far...
the problem is that the users do not know how to use ftp clients and i am writing scripts for them to 'press here to backup' so that it copies all the relevant info.
my problem is that i dont really want to have to create all the directory structure either in the local foler or the remote folder... how can i copy all the files AND folders in a particular directory? mput * copies all the files but i need to copy files and folders automatically... i am using the simple ftp command that comes with windows in a batch file and writing a script, any advice please???
