Great! Just ran the software when a message appeared stating that Symantec had detected a 'back door trojan' then at the bottom of the details screen it said 'Action taken; Cleaned by Deletion' Did you get this problem? Do we carry on now as the (hopefully) trojan is deleted?

OK, cheers, I will try from home to-night. I have just tried another computer that is off the filtering software and managed to download the file. The only problem now is that when i try to run the file on the server, it says it is an unknown file type so does not open etc. Should i have another file to open this one?

I tried the link but I keep getting an error message saying the 'IE8 was unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.' I have tried both the actual link and the download button on the right, both times I get the same message.

Hi there. I have just found out (by reading the threads here), that Lanview is no more! Great shame. Does anyone know of a suitable program that did what Lanview did - woring on Wondows 7 O/S please? Thanks
