Hi, I'll post my question in two stages as this forum will not let me post my question and a copy of my xml file in one post as my first post due to "Images" and "Links".
I'm putting together an unattend.xml file to completely automate my Windows 7 deployment via WDS but I am currently experiencing issues with the first three questions during setup and the answers in the unattend.xml file seem to be ignored.
The unattend.xml file is used when the image is sysprepped using the /unattend switch, I then capture the image to WDS.
Basically what I am trying to do is allow a machine to boot up via PXE and perform the following, the items in Bold are what fail:
•Answer the language questions for PE
•Authneticate with th WDS server
•Configure the disk
•Select the image •Answer the language questions for Windows 7
•Answer the EULA question
•Set the network location
•Automatically name the machine using %MACHINE% and join the domain
•Create a local admin account
The OS install answers work fine (accept for Network location) and I can deal with that. but the PE side always asks me to answer the questions. I've attached the unattend.xml in the next post below and would appreciate any help.
