when we replace our old kit, we Fdisk them and put an old copy of XP home on them. then we ship them to our sister school out in Africa. However, not too sure how much the shipping costs are? Or you could have fun with the hard discs in the DT department. Drills, Ban saws, hammers, Chisels

We use Track-IT by Numara. fairly decent. its got a help desk database, an inventory DB, a purchasing DB and a training DB.
