I have a theory that we can categorise how comfortable our users are with IT based on the characters out of the Garfield show. Holidays for IT support in education are usually full of server and system upgrades as the staff and students are not in and this enables us to take the system down. However at Christmas we get one or two days at the most. This is due to the bank holidays and IT support staff, heaven forbid, wanting to spend time with their families.

Well we made it to our 3rd birthday and what a ride it has been so far from our first months to just finish running out latest conference. So many people I could thank and if tried i would miss someone out so think best thing is to say a big thank you to everyone who has made this site from my fellow admins to the mods and to most important people you the membership who make this site.
The site has always had ethos that if a member has an idea then heck if we can do something to support that member while they run with it then we will.
I think all of the admins would have laughed and had the person committed if they had told us what future had in store.
Over the summer i am going to try and organise bit of get together for us so we can raise a drink or few in name of edugeek.net 3rd year.
Here is to the next 3 years.
