  1. Is there any way, to have a GPO setting that deletes all files on the desktop at each logoff?
  2. Hi, We are having lots of issues with staff saving files to their desktop. And would like a way to stop them from doing this. Is there a way GPO setting, or something similar to have windows delete anything stored on there at each logoff? This way the desktop can be used for temp storage for that day, and a fresh each morning. The option is to redirect it to a blank share, Thanks, Martin

Hi, I was planning to migrate to SQL 2012, for SIM's. Is there any plans for SQL 2014 to supported anytime soon? Or shall I just upgrade now. Thanks, Martin,
  5. We tried other software, but the staff refused to try it. At one point we were running thin clients for the whole school. But later moved to 3/4 PC, and the rest the old thin clients. We were hoping to try VDI, as it's much easier to manage, that the conventional PC's
  6. The staff here, will only agree if we can get movie maker to work. We have adobe premiere running, but they don't want to use it.
  7. I'm still searching for a way, we are unable to assign a GPU due to cost. Unless we can get this to work, we won't be able to roll out our VDI solution.
  8. We are unable to add any GPUs the the servers. Is there anyway to modify, movie maker? Or is there another product we could try.
  9. Hi, We have just rolled out 30 XenDesktop PC's. Our staff require, "Windows Live Movie Maker" to be installed. But since there is no GPU in the VDI box. IT won't run. Is there any workaround, or tweaks we can do. Which would allow us to run it? Thanks, Martin,
  10. Hello, We currently have around 60 Wyse S10 Terminals. And another 60 Wyse 1200LE Terminals. They all connect to a Citrix 4.5 Farm, Running 2003 R2 x64. We are experiencing extremely poor graphic performance from these terminals. Simple scrolling in IE, or playing a YouTube video, causes the screen to severely stutter. Also we would like to use microphones / headphones, on the S10 terminals. But they don’t seem to detect any sound device. The S10 terminals are running version 5, of their software (Very old version), and the 1200le are running the latest. Someone did suggest upgrading the firmware, but we don’t have a maintenance contract with Wyse. We halso have a numbe of HP T5530 Termianls, that work fine with audio devices, so I don;t think it's the servers at fault. Can anyone suggest any ideas, on how to increase the perforce of these terminals. Or can provide me with an updated firmware image. Thanks, Martin,
  11. One Is Exchange 2003, the other Exchange 2010. If both were to be running 2010, would there be there an easier way of doing this?
  12. Just wondering if anyone had any more ideas?
  13. Hi, They are two diffrent domain / forests. In diffrent locations. Once exported, would i need to alter anything, to convert them to contacts, instead of users? Martin,
  14. Hi, I need to export all users, with email address, from one domain. Then import them as Contacts in another domain. (To show up in the exchange GAL). I was using the command below, to export the users. Using CSVDE. Is this the correct code, for what I need to do? csvde -f output.csv -d "DC=MyDomain,dc=internal" -r "(&(objectClass=user)(mail=*))" -l "DisplayName, mail" But now I can’t seem to find any way of importing them as contacts. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks, Martin,
