Hi, We have suddenly started getting DCOM errors in the event viewer on the server comming from different workstations around the school. A new error message is appearing every min or so. Error message in event viewer is below. (We are on an RM CC3 network) The description for Event ID ( 10015 ) in Source ( DCOM ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. If that works for you then that is ok, the problem I think I might have a fix for is if you have got a rule but still java wont do anything and you are at a loss as what to do as was I.

Hi, had the same problem, might be able to help. How do you have profiles working. If you create a new user, does it copy standard files for the profile from somewhere? Are you using a proxy to get to the internet? Glenn

Do you all use a proxy to access the internet? We have had the same problem here since upgrading. We are an RM network and have been onto support to them for 22 days with no progress, finally I found the fix myself. It might work for non RM as well. Let me know how you access the internet and also type of network (RM or not) and I will try to help. Glenn

Hi, Can you have a look at this document we have been send about how are IP address will have to be changed as we are running out. We are rather lost on what it is on about to be honest. One thing is what does it mean by 172.16.140.0 /23? What does the /23 mean? I don't know anything about this. Hi, Usally it is the other way around and all our things work in firefox and not in IE6 but our front intranet page does not display correctly this time in firefox. I have a program what when the user double clicks it, it installs the VNC server and then does a reverse VNC connection to my workstation so I don't have to go about trying to find what PC the user is on and then type in the name. After it is done it removes itself and its like it was never there (I didn't make it, just customised it).

You probably fixed it by restarting the IIS service

im using smoothgallery for the rotating images. But for the buttom I just want to use plain boring images which do nothing apart from be there

Hi, I had to start from scratch with a standard joomla package as I could not get my me nu system to work in the edugeek one. I really liked the smooth gallery but the model seems to be no longer avalible for download. Can any one suggest an alternitive one that does the same and works with joomla. Thanks, Glenn

Hi, I got rid off all the sites in the censornet I have that have been added to the block list. This has made this feature not work. It seems to need a dummy table in it as it wont let me add anything now. Can any one tell me how I can add a dummy entry to the Banned Site List via the back end of censornet? Regards, Glenn

Hi, I am very confused with this. I am getting sites blocked by it and it is very annoying. Basicly id like yo know if I can turn this off so it doesnt block any thing. If no one knows this then can you tell me why I still get sites blocked under a certain catagory for example ICRA drugstobacco PICS even when I have it set as 0 and also change it to 1. Hi, I have now got the censornet server working how I need it to be. I was wondering if I can test it out on like 10 computers. I don't want to put it into the global settings in RMMC for the whole school. Even when I do roll it out properly I only want to student computers to go through the new proxy and not staff workstations or laptops. Thanks for any help you can offer. Glenn
