Thanks again Gentlemen, it was permissions although I don't know why it happened! when nothing had changed and its been working perfectly well for the last 6 months on our new network.

Hi Folks, We are running a Windows 2003 Server network with XP Pro Clients. I noticed yesterday that for some unknown reason when I create a new user in AD and then login onto to a computer I get the following error message:- USER ENVIRONMENT - Windows cannot find a server copy of your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with a local profile, etc, etc,. Your help would be much appreciated....

Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP Pro Clients - Anyone know of a program / script that would allow us to reset and/or delete user profiles. Everytime we want to delete a user profile we have to find the users profile, take ownership of it and the delete it manually, then logon to a workstation, check that the user hasn't logged on to the PC before, if so, remove the user profile from within Documents and Setting, then logon as the user to recreate the profile and then logout before letting the user log back on to the network. A right pain in the ASS!

Hi Dos_Box, Tried your instruction... Exchange General tab/Delivery options/Forward to, doesn't work... when I put in a external email address, exchange tells me its invalid, can't find a mailbox with that address.

Printing scripts for users netlogon Haven't been online for a while, got rid of RM CC3, been putting in a new Windows 2003 school wide network, 3 new servers and 95 new workstations to compliment the other 100 workstations we already have running WinXP. Anyway, I am using a vbs script tagged on to users netlogon scripts to find local network printers, I'm using DLINK Print Servers, anyway, only problem is the vbs script is suppose to remove the local printers from users profiles when they logout but they don't and as such students are printing all over the place... can anyone come up with a better method, would have to be very well explained for me to impliment. Hi Guys, We're having problems with our OWA setup. In the meantime we would like to forward a users school email to their home email address but cant find where or how to do it. We can forward email from one internal mailbox to another user mailbox. Cheers Gordie

Hi Guys, Running MS Windows 2003 Server Anyone know if I can setup MS Outlook 2000 in Group Policies. I can setup the proxy setting for Internet Explorer but cant find any reference to Outlook proxy settings. Do I have to set Outlook up on a standard workstation and save the changes to the "Default User" or can it be done in AD. Cheers Gordie

We have a number of Windows XP Client workstations that use peer to peer printing on a Windows 2000 Server network. One client has a printer attached to it and set up in share mode so 8 or 10 clients can print to it. We have found however that since installing new Windows XP clients the share print facility doesn't work. In other words... when users login to a client workstation they don't get access to the shared printer. It works fine if I login as administrator. User profiles have not changed. Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone out there use RANGER! on their Windows 2003 Server based network, if so how long have you been using it and how do you rate it?
