  1. I am trying to create an Individual Report for students with graphs. The graph within the Word Template has been edited to how we would like it, but when I run the actual report for a student it resizes parts of the graph. I can only assume the macro that is run when generating the report is making some changes, so I went back into the template and opened VBA and tried to click on IndRepBaseTemplate - but it is asking for a password. Is this password available to us to view what is happening? TIA
  2. Hi For the past few years our school has been using sub levels at KS4 by attaching a + or - to every KS4 grade A*-G. We now want to attached a, b, c instead of +/-, but I don't want to create new aspects as we have formula heavy templates which would all need to be updated. Is there a way to convert all historical assessment data to a new grade set without changing aspects?
  3. For all non GCSE grades we used to have one grade per possible entry but it got too messy when you want to combine diplomas and certificates into one column. Also, when you want to break it down into 'best 8' alongside other results it's very hard to separate a results with a point score of say 160 when analysing with GCSE's. So from last year I reverted it all back to L1 or L2 Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction Plus which at Level 2 usually relates to A*-C - we have a separate entry column for number of GCSE equivalents which means we can now easily compare GCSE to non-GCSE subjects and also work out our likely best 8 score.
  4. It seems quite difficult to find a solution that ticks all the boxes. We tried assessment manager but it was decided comment banks were better due to the amount of target types there were. I guess Profiles doesn't allow for too much manipulation. We wanted to create a session which is open all year long so constant editing/reviewing of targets could be made, but in doing this we can't do the 'Review' bit as once you go to review you can't go back to entering/editing comment by the teacher.
  5. Hi We use Profiles for Tutors to set student targets at the start of the year, then these are reviewed during the year and targets are edited etc during various review periods. The problem we seem to have is when new Tutors take over a group mid-year. The new Tutor appears to not be able to edit or even view the previous comments entered, but printed versions have the old comments on (probably due to having the same template). Is there a way of easily deleting all old comments from a teacher who has left, or can the new tutor be allowed to view/edit the previous comments?
  6. Hi Ecclesbury, thanks for your post. I too am surprised we've had to re-advertise this job. The job involves doing a level of work that a Data Manager would, hence the pay. We are a campus so collecting data and reporting to parents every other term to 13 year groups is almost a full time job in itself. The Deputy Data Manager will be reporting to me (Data Manager). I guess the role could be called Data Manager and my job title changed but I don't see the point. My job role now requires me to have a close link to SLT and Heads of Departments and developing new systems, something I can't do whilst constantly distributing reports. If you have experience as a Data Manager already then you would be very welcome to apply!
  7. This job is now being re-advertised. Deputy Data & Assessment Manager // Bridge Learning Campus
  8. Hi Not sure if there's a better place to post this but we have a job going here: Deputy Data and Assessment Manager // Bridge Learning Campus
  9. you can get round it by creating your own jpeg with the grades on then stick it by the side of the SIMS graph. its a bit fiddly but it works fine for me. obviously id much rather capita gave us an option to use grades instead of aps scores!
