Hi all, I have a user on a laptop who's Mouse mysteriously moves accross screen without intervention. Could it be a profile issue? Have already tried supplying her with a new mouse to no effect.

Hi, im building a vanilla server for win 2003 server. Im trying to get as much crap off it as possible but I cant seem to be able to remove Outlook Express. Its defo not in the usual options list. Anyone know how to remove it? Under XP it would just be under 'windows components'.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience getting this to auto start when the server boots up!

Just needed to mount them correctly mate. Can do it in Yast, but better from command line.

Hi, Im building a farm of linux servers within a VM environment. What I need to do is be able to automatically download and roll out patches to those servers through a patch management server. So Im building a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to do this. My question is what product can I use to do this? Zenworks Patch Management only seems viable for a windows environment. So, should I use ZENworks Linux Management? A bit of guidence here would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi all, Our developer cannot connecto to a mail server from a batch file that he runs. It worked previously & there is no firewall between his box and the mail server. Here is a copy of the error message: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed; nested exception is: javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: 10.10.10. 1, port: 25; nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: connect at javax.mail.Transport.send0(Transport.java:219) at javax.mail.Transport.send(Transport.java:81) at Assimilator.main(Assimilator.java:26) He insists its not his bat file or code. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi all, I have a Suse Linux enterprise server 10 & a SAN which ive devided into 10 partitions and is presented to the Suse Server. The Partitioner see's the partitions but I can access them. Is it simply a case that I need to mount them?? Would I also need to set permisions on them??? I just wondered if there are any guides ya might know off?? Thanks in advance.

Aaaaah sorted it. You need to install the 'Hide Unvisited' addon from Firefox.

Upon clearing ALL the private data, when u click in the address bar, previous websites are still listed. How do you remove these? Not very helpfull when creating images.

When a user opens their browser for the 1st time, IE reports that a page cannot be displayed. However, upon refreshing the page, their homepage displays fine. Its happening to more & more users & I cant firgure it. Ive deleted their profile to no effect! Any ideas? I'm all

Out of warranty printer. Now started printing horizontal lines down any print & the print smudges when u touch it!. Any ideas? Fuser?? Have looked on HP support page, but pretty useless unless im being dumb!

Spell checker doesnt work & you get the message 'proofing tools not installed'. Have run a repair & even completely uninstalled & reinstalled the software on the machine, but same issue. Is there a registry setting that needs changing? All ideas are appeciated. Many Thanks.

Hi, When I delete user profiles on the server, the profiles will recreate when a user logs in. However, inorder to click into the new profile folder for a particular user, I am forced to take ownership as a domain administrator for that profile folder. This is inspite of the fact that for the profiles, the domain administrator already has full permissions on the parent 'profiles$' folder and the user profile folder. Any ideas?? ok, I have an issue with Office 2007 Spell check. It basically doesnt spell check & gives the msg proofing tools not installed. I have repaired word, but to know effect. Any ideas much appreciated!!

I have been given a virtual hard drive which I have been asked to format virtually. It has the ext of.vmdk Ideas on how to do this much appreciated. I have VMworkstation I could import it too & a virtual suse linux box set up.

When server boots, I get that message. My prob is when I go into recovery console, it asks for a password I dont have. Anyways of getting around this?
