  1. I have a scenerio where I have an global distribution list with internal users and external contacts. I'm trying to determine where and what is causing a delay message under the following circumstances: External user ([email protected]) sends to my internal distribution list ([email protected]). The list includes him and 5 other external contacts ([email protected], [email protected], etc.) at his domain. Everyone on the list both internal and external are forwarded his message except him and those at his domain. Here is the message details (mailgate is our Tumbleweed email gateway for inbound/outbound Internet delivery): Reporting-MTA: dns;EXCH01.MyCompany.com Received-From-MTA: dns;mailgate.MyCompany.com Arrival-Date: Wed, 2 Feb 2011 20:22:37 -0500 Original-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Final-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Action: delayed Status: 4.0.0 Diagnostic-Code: smtp;421 Service Temporarily Unavailable Will-Retry-Until: Fri, 4 Feb 2011 20:22:37 -0500 X-Display-Name: [email protected] Original-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Final-Recipient: rfc822;[email protected] Action: delayed Status: 4.4.7 Will-Retry-Until: Fri, 4 Feb 2011 20:22:37 -0500 X-Display-Name: [email protected] Would this be caused by Exchange "seeing" this as a relay in some way? Not sure why it would not send to all list addresses.
