  1. Still no luck for me finding the portal, will have to look at making cake instead.
  2. yep i know there should be, just strange mine just keeps sending me east, doesnt matter what i do, east is the only way it wants to go.
  3. Hmmmm, ok, will try and recover my stuff and keep trying then. it must be out there somewhere.
  4. anyone found the end portal? i have traveled 13000 blocks and still not found it.... ended up killng me due to work gen lag. I am a bit worried as the eye's only seem to think i need to go East.
  5. Any news on when the pack will be updated to the new version?
  6. Hi TomMagee, I have narrowed it down to a certificate issue, it will not accept it unless its the main CA cert, so i am currently looking into this issue. Thanks for your guide though help me with some issues i had.
  7. Ok so i have not managed to get it working yet, I have set up the NPS which was easy and specified the Wireless Controller. On the wireless controller i have specified radius and pointed it to the server with NPS on and told both the shared secret that was generated. On the wireless controller i have stated that i am using WPA2 (AES/CCMP with a dynamic key to enable 802.1x authentication, and selected the profile i created for the Radius. I have exported the certificate from the CA, not sure what active directory enrollment policy i am suppose to select. I have tried a few different Certificates and i can see in my log for wireless it authenticates but then just disconnects and wont reconnect. I am using a HP MSM775 so maybe i am missing a step?
  8. Thanks TomMagee, will take a look at getting this working tomorrow. and yes its server 2012 r2 i am running it all on.
  9. Hi All, Hoping someone can help me i am getting a little bit confused. I am trying to move over to Radius for wireless for school devices, and eventually for BYOD as well. What i would like to is to set up school devices to be authenticated on a device level (certificate for machines) and then once i get this up and running i want to do BYOD with user authentication. From what i have managed to read i will need to setup CA to allow me to do certificates for the machines, but all the documentation keeps talking about user level stuff, which is not how i want the school devices to authenticate. Can anyone share some good guides on this please?
  10. Hi, Thanks for all your help, i finally got it working. Setting i used are as follows: Ports to be Vlaned: VLAN Aware, Ingress Filtered, Packet Type All PVID (New VLAN ID) I removed the Vlan ports from default Vlan so they only belong to new vlan and all is working as i want. Thanks again for your help.
  11. Ok, I have gone to my port and enabled ingress filtering, set the packet to mode to tagged only with new vlan id, i can still however ping it from other ports.
  12. no i have not, will this stop all packets that dont have my new vlan id?
  13. Hi, I am trying to set up a vlan on a ProCurve 1800-24G and i am really getting lost with it. I have setup a new vlan and added the two ports i would like on that vlan, i have also removed them from the default vlan. Next i have set the PVID of the two ports to the new vlan but i can still ping this from other ports on the switch that are not on the vlan, i thought having it on a separate vlan would not allow it to be pinged, am i missing something? any help would be appreciated.
  14. Hope this is the right section, I am trying to set up a transparent squid proxy but i think i am over thinking the problem and not getting anywhere. Here is the setup. So vlan 1 will be the main one that connects to the internet and lets say anything on this is tagged vlan id 1 and has a ip of 192.168.1.0 and netmask 255.255.255.0 this can be computer and printer and anything else. So my other vlan will be say vlan 2 and anything connected to this will be on the following 192.168.2.0 and netmask 255.255.255.0, i want this trafic to be isolated from vlan 1 but needs only internet access so i want transparent proxy working on this vlan with no config needed client side. Do i set my 12.04 server to act as a bridge so that traffic can travel across to the gateway (router) for internet after going through my proxy? Hopefully all this makes sense.
  15. appliansys cachbox which we where thinking of using
