The phones have all just started to work, as you mentioned the only thing now is 120 sec delay after i put the hand set down? The system is working on a shared line with o2 broad band through a filter, how do I get passed the 120 sec issue? BT wizard?

I have also gone in & changed guarded clear settings on phone & still no change

Thanks for getting back to me & for suggestions. I can't obtain the wizard software as unfortunately don't have a bt support account Don't quite understand what u mean about the guarded call as have left the line open (handset up) for 120 secs & no change? Many thanks Dan

Tried with a Mirco filter, seemed like it wanted to work, pick hand set up, press 9 to dail out, then 10s later it displays line busy on the LCD, the only thing i can think off is if i phone the Line Rental provider to temporaly take the ASDL off the line and test it. if i dail the line from an mobile it rings the line, but none of the hand sets actually ring.

Hi, I've tried installing a BT Versatility System within my home office, running 3No V8 Feature Phones, All phones have been wired back to master Versatility Box into the first 3 Extention Sockets , which has three modules installed, ISDN, Voice and PSTN Card. all 3 phones work, Internally, however soon as i connect the BT Versatility to my incoming BT anologue line it throws a wobbly - it Holds open the line, cant ring out or ring in - and the V8 phones says line is busy. I have read that i cant run broad band on the same line so i have disconnected this and isolated this. - but stilll got the issue. I know the line is running fine because if i discount the BT Versatility from the Master Socket and Plug a normal Telephone in, every thing works? I've hard wired the BT V System into the master socket, using cable A & B. can any one shred some light on whats gone wrong or what i've wired up wrong? Do i need a BT Business Line? and not an Residential Line? Has BT put a block on the system at the exchange? Regards Dan
