The extender is also a booster (in the same way as a hub would boost the signal) and the other 50-odd boards about the place are working fine so I don't think it's that. We did spot that this PC is the only one that has a usb mouse and memory stick permanently plugged in. Have put a PS/2 mouse on and unplugged the memory stick. So far this seems to have solved the problem...

I have this problem as well... The board has been working fine since installation 6-7 months ago and now (since a new teacher has started using the room) it keeps loosing connection to the PC. I also have an extender on - like most of the boards in the college - and generally they work fine. Really weird and Smart are no help. If anyone has any thoughts or a solution, I would probably do a little happy dance for them...
