ive tried your resolution changer on a 1015p eeepc.
unfortunately it doesnt downscale the offered resolutions, but it upscales 800*600.
i set the regwords to 1 ( display1_downscaling_enabled and ..._supported).
its not an outdated driver issue, ive installed the latest availlable for winxp (intel gma 3150) from intel homepage.
i have no idea....
astray ( about every version from 1.3beta to latest) works, " netbook resolution costumizer" works, almost everything availlable works, but only for 1024*768.
after that, no downscaling.
im sooo sad.
this eee came with win7 starter, the strange updated driver , and the option to choose
1152*864.
of course i killed win7 right away, cause i hate it, and besides the 2G maximum RAM suggest to rather use xp instead...
point beeing : it is of course possible to interpolate 1152*768 and propably higher than that on my nice little guy.
i also tried the samsung driver with the same result.
ive googled my ass off.
nothing seems to work beyond 1024*768.
do you or does anyone else have a suggestion (a political correct one of course)?
it worked on gma 950 beautyfully. (lazertaggs drivers and such)
i would appreciate ANY advice on this.
my tiny brain is not capaple of writing a driver.......
anyone?
