Ok, I have a rather strange issue here. Ive had it for a while on a number of Installations of SharePoint but still have no idea what is causing the issue.
Basically I create a workflow with SharePoint Designer. The workflow has a number of steps, all doing specific things.
When the workflow fires (either on Create or on Change) each step is completed successfully (I know this due to Logging in the History) but when it workflow gets to the end, instead of Completing, I get 'Error Occurred'.
When investigating all the error says is:
'An error occured in the Workflow'
Now, the process is fine as all steps are completed successfully, but why is the workflow erroring and how do I stop this?
