i have not used proxycfg before, i ran the command and it said im not going through a proxy. how to do i make it go through the proxy?

i also thought it should pick the proxy that IE had but for some reason it does not, i tested a few pages with IE and there were blocked but when i tested then with explorer the worked fine.

Hiya Im just wondering if any one could help me, we running squid and all the kids account go through the box using a proxy so that we can filter the internet, but if the kids goes on to "my computer " and then type in webaddress it lets then use other proxy which we use for staff . so im asking is there any way setting a proxy for explorer. many thank for the help

Hiya i recently got a job as an ict technicain at the high school, i will be starting in about two weeks , can any one tell me what i will be doing on day to day basis sorry to ask , it gonna be my first day and i don't want to screw anything up

hiya sorry for the late replay , i did not get the job but i came 2nd out five not bad , we had to do a practical and written tests , easy really but the person who wrote did not make it clear, i.e "what type is terminal services " anyways i have got another interview in two weeks times lets hope i get it many thanks for all the help

many thanks for all your help , if the ICT task is going to be like you guys said, i should be o.k as long as my nerves don't make me screw it up for the interview part do u think they are going ask me how would you stop a fight between pupils etc ? any help on how to answer questions in front of three people would be great

i recently (this wednesday) been invited for a interview for ict technician at a high school. They said there is going to be an Ict task they are going to give me to do ,what do you think that is going to be? any adivce of the inteview im gonna have three people interviewing me I have Hnd in ICT and i have been working as desktop support part time at uni , for the past year , recently they changed my job title to ict technician but i still do the same job but now and then install some new hardware etc. I have not done any networking apart from @ home, do think this is goig to be a problem? it did not mention networking in the job description many thanks for any help
