  1. I checked the message queues and the tracking utility. From what I can tell, it seems as though the server doesn't recognise which addresses are local and which are external. For some reason it seems to be trying to route all of the mail externally, even though the email is using an internal address. Does anyone know if there is somewhere to tell exchange which domains are internal and which are external? I'm very confused! Thanks for your help
  2. Don't know if anyone can help me. We're running an internal domain on Windows 2000 server. Recently installed Exchange 2003 as an internal email system. The installation went ok and Outlook can find and connect to Exchange from the client computers but for some reason, mail will send but never get received. It is as though it disappears. I don't get any non delivery reports so the Microsoft Troubleshooting Tool is a waste of time and I can't seem to find any errors in the exchange management console. Just so that I can be sure, can anyone explain the post installation steps involved just to get internal email? I'd be EXTREMELY grateful!
