HP LaserJet P2055DN's going offline and not responding

I found that by going into the printer properties, ports, configure and taking the check mark out of the SNMP Status Enabled box .... the printer instantly goes back online and I am able to print. I have no idea why that works or whats going on but .... it works for me.
