Dos_box - from my point of view as long as you aren't a full time employee of RM or the game designers I see no reason why you shouldn't win the minibook if you beat Ric's score! I guess you are a school tech/network manager anyway so if your fellow Edugeek admins have no problem with it we are happy! Ric - I think you should let somebody else have a chance!

guys... totally fair points above - my apologies! Basically this was a bit of an oversight on my part... the forum sponsorship was supposed to run for the full calendar month of March with the competition end date on the last day of the month. However, due to technical delays creating and getting the ad live on the site (relating to flash version and clicktag) the start and subsequent end of the sponsorship was delayed. Hence the change to the end date. Anyway, enough of the boring stuff… I can see now that this is far too late in the day and unfair on Ric, so…. haha brilliant - Don't sit on the fence there Jake! I've only used it a couple of time and it has crashed on me once or twice due to hardware acceleration issues which I can't get round without turning it off (v annoying) but I didn't find the experience that offensive and I can think of lots of things that could work well in the environment... I've just yet to find many!

Hi there, I'm just wondering if many edugeek members use second life? Has anybody found any useful work-related resources? I've heard there is a UK Education Island with an NAACE virtual lounge although I've yet to visit it! I think second life could be a good opportunity to put together a collection of resources and interest groups and I can see a real benefit in attending conferences and meetings in second life - would save time, money and there's the 'green' benefit! Are there any plans to give edugeek a home on second life?
