  1. Any luck Admiral ? Did you manage to fix it ? Regards, Costi B.
  2. Hey Admiral, with Edugeek Joomla package, you have to use PHP 5.2.9 Option nr. 1: Take it from here: PHP Windows : WampServer 2 Just execute the downloaded 5.2.9 setup over your previous Wamp installation, and when complete, change the PHP version from the try icon. I suppose that you have now PHP 5.3.1 if you used the last version of Wamp. Option nr. 2: Another option is to upgrade Edugeek Joomla package from 1.5.10 to 1.5.18. Use this how to: Upgrading 1.5 from an existing 1.5x version - Joomla! Documentation This way, you can use latest PHP version without problems. I've used both methods with success, but in real live environment you better use option nr.2, because hosting platforms will be upgraded to newer versions of PHP always. Ask more if you need help. Regards, Costi B.
  3. The pain has come to an end! Hei Simon, check this out: sigplus Image Gallery Plus - Joomla! Extensions Directory Demo and download pages here: sigplus Examples - Levente Hunyadi I don't have enough words to explain why this is higher above jwsig. Give it a try, you'll see why! Regards, Costi B.
  4. Thanks for info, the effort is not worth it, I saw how it looks ... An update to problem nr. 2: - if you are logged in and usermenu appears in the left sideof the page, then all the top menus starts to dropdown correctly (this works for me only in Firefox, in IE it has no effect). Also I've spent some time on jwsig forums and a lot of people have conflicts between their other plugins and jwsig free version. The only solution from their moderator is to upgrade to SIGPro because this one has the possibility to change the "pop up engine". I'll keep on searching for a free solution, because I'm not willing to pay for it. Costi B.
  5. Hei Simon, this is really annoying because it is doing even more damage: 1 - if article with images using jwsig is on the first page than rockslideshow it is not displayed. 2 - if article with images using jwsig is displayed inside website some parts from top menu doesn't drops down anymore. I can confirm problem nr.2 on wamp platform and also on live environment hosting platform (IE and Firefox behaves differently, depends of hosting platform) Have you found some fix for this problem? If you switched to other product can you share your choice? Regards, Costi B.
  6. Today I've just used what Adam suggested and it worked like magic! I cannot recommend something else better, faster or easier than this: Akeeba Backup at http://www.akeebabackup.com Regards, Costi B.
  7. Hello, I have the same problem for "School Status" and "Advert 1". If someone managed to center the text only (the pictures are centered OK) in those area please let us know what was the trick. Costi B.
  8. Thank you Adam, Simon. @Adam: Where (link page) it will be available that moodle theme you were speaking about, so I can keep an eye on that page? @Simon: You made the things more clear with your explanation. If you are so kind, please let me know via PM when you've found them. Regards, Costi B.
  9. Thanks for answering Ric. But the "standard themes provided in the EduGeek Joomla package" are just the axe_rescheek themes. There is no other theme in that package to look like EduGeek Moodle Theme. If Moodle theme doesn't exist for joomla, then how is this site made Ashton Park School - Home ? I suppose it is also on joomla platform, considering the favicon (I think that's the term of the little picture represented in top broswer tab). Is there any road I should follow to reach at this final design? Thanks, Costi B.
  10. Has any one of you some idea about this topic? Is "danIT" user still active around this forum ? Thanks, Costi B.
  11. Hello edugeeks. Currently I'm trying to make a website for my son's school and started with edugeek-joomla-package-sysman_mk-v1.3. Trying to change some themes for this and I've stopped on danIT's piece of art EduGeek Moodle Theme. I'm a little confuse now because I've installed Joomla and just started to learn it but I cannot apply danIT's theme to sysman package. After a bit of reading I understand that danIT's theme must be applied on moodle package. I also did that from curiosity and ended with 2 new websites: nr 1 - joomla with axe rescheek theme and nr 2 - moodle with danIT's theme. Obviously the question comes in now: how can I end up having Joomla with EduMoodle theme? Firsts I was questioning myself if this is somehow even possible but after some reading inside forum I've found this site: Ashton Park School - Home So I'm thinking that it could be possible to reach something like this. Will you be so kind to answer/help me with this topic ? Thanks in advance and best regards, Costi B.
  12. Hello, my first post in here, thus I've been around reading you, but now I have registered. @SimpleSi: yes, I confirm the same behavior on my setup also: plugin_jw_sig-v1.2.1r2_j1.5 with edugeek-joomla1.5 on wamp platform, when displayed on the front page it stops the rockslideshow from being displayed. PS: Congratz to all of you for this wonderful forum. Regards, Costi B.
