  1. Fantastic! I have opened it, and now I have come to put it into dreamweaver - one more nudge and i'll be in your debt forever!
  2. Thank you for your reply - how would I put that into dreamweaver?
  3. Hi! I need some help with Dreamweaver CS5. I am attempting to re create our school website as it is very dated. The software I am using is Adobe CS5 Web Premium. I'm new to all of this and so far I have recreated the home page. I would like to add a 'ticker' onto our page and a similar thing to our 'latest news' update - this is using java applet. DW gives me the option to insert an applet but doesn't tell me where/how to create one in the first place; in addition to this I would like to change the main image from a static picture to a flowing slide show - so far I have managed to do a basic rollover. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have put the website address at the bottom of this message. Many, Many Thanks in anticipation! Oli Decoy School Web Site
  4. i need to know how to create a flowing slide show, in replacment of our main image; and how to create a java applet in order to recreate our 'latest news' part. Decoy School Web Site any information would be gratefully received!!
  5. and thats the limit of your knowledge on Dreamweaver?!
  6. I now have CS5 Web Premium! Now I have the daunting challenge of discovering how it works! I'm getting there but I feel I still need help/advise in order to push me in the right direction. i.e. I want to add a 'ticker' to our website - like the java 'latest news' which is currently in place - however, I can't find a clue of where to start. I have been practising with the CSS as you said and that is making my life easier already, I just need a point in the right direction - I mean do I start in a different program or what?! Thanks
  7. Thank you to you both - I may just take you up on your offers. Like i said, I am expecting CS5 in a couple weeks so I'm going to read up on it a bot and see if it might be worthwhile rebuilding the whole site... Thank you again for all your advice. OP
  8. Thank you for your reply. I'm new to all this - would you be able to advise me on where to get more information about updating the code and frames?
  9. It was a existing website that, you are right, is slightly out of date... how would I go about updating the code? is it an easy thing or... I am updating to CS5 in a couple weeks - will that have anything in it to help?
  10. Hi! I've been trying to find out why our school website cant be seen in certain browsers - e.g. safari, mozilla firefox etc. Does anyone know why this it - and more importantly what i need to do to make it viewable in all or most browsers? Thanks Muchly!
