can anyone advise me about the possibility of getting a pvr to record a sky channel when i'm out please?

Hello all, i'm new to this site so here goes. At the moment i have sky+ at home and a standard sky box in my caravan.When i visit my caravan i take my white sky+ card and i can get all the chanels i get at home. My question is ,if i subscribe to sky HD can i still use my original sky+ box in my caravan with all its sky+ functions providing i change to a two chanel LNB and run the extra cable with the sky card i have at the moment.
