Steve My Deputy Head is looking at using this company. Did you use them, if so what did they do and how were they? Steve -
We have several PC's that share out their locally attached printers. As of the start of this week the PC's that attach to these Shared printers can nolonger see the printers, but the PC's that are locally attached to the printers print ok. When you try to browse for the Printer in the add printer wizard it lists the PC, but when you click on the + symbol to show the printer no printer is shown. Its driving me nuts Steve

I have a new Laptop at home with Windows 7 and I want to connect it to my wireless network. It can see my access point and connects to it once I put in the pass key, I can also ping the router and all the other PC's on my network. However it won't connect to the internet under Network and Sharing Centre it shows next to the Access type No Internet access. I have checked all the IP settings and all is correct. My old XP laptop and netbook connect without a problem. Can anyone help as its driving me mad.

I have two XP Pro SP3 PC's that are on a workgroup which I use to load Software onto our Netbook by sharing out their CD drives. This was working fine, we have just loaded Norton 360 on them both and now we are unable to access the shared cd drives. If we share out a fold on the local C:drive we can see and open the share, however if we share out the cd drive we can see the share but get the message "\\PC\D on PC is not accessible. You might not have permission to use the network resource". I have taken off Simple File Sharing and Everyone has full control over the drive. Please Help as I need to load Office 2007 asap.

Both our Head and Head of Junior School have Blackberry's. We downloaded the Blackberry Professional Software, which is a free version of the Enterprise Server (it only allows 30 users) and comes with 1 user licence. We had to buy another user licence which was around £40. All working OK and was really simple to install. All the intructions are online on the blackberry website.

We wanted to upgrade to Office 2007 last Summer, but our Junior Dept are holding us back as they are using RM Talking First Word. RM state that they are not going to do a version for Office 2007. Does anyone know of any alternative so that we can keep our Junior Staff Happy without having to keep Office 2003. Thanks

I’m looking at replacing our old firewall does anyone have any recommendations? We have around 1,000 users and will require web filtering.

We have been monitoring our students internet access and have found an increasing rise in access to Facebook, MySpaces, Bebo, etc. These sites have been banned on our onsite and our ISP's filtering, but the students are still managing to access them. They are getting around our filtering by using Circumventors and are creating a secure tunnel https:// out. Has anyone been able to block this?
