Hi Everyone, Is there any easy way to change the default homepage within a roaming profile without uploading a whole new profile? I have tried setting it in default domain policy but it does not override whats in the profile. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Guy's. I just want something that is kind of in your face, looks good, child friendly (bright, colourful etc) whilst at the same time easy to update for me or teaching staff... Joomla I think is probably best however just trying to get my head around it that is proving the difficult bit!! Johnathon

Hi Guy's, OK so the school are wanting a complete new fresh website designing. I am guessing everyone now is going to say use joomla for it? OK I have no experience with joomla but going to have a play around with it... Is there anywhere I can get free templates which are suitable for Primary Schools? Hi Guy's, I have just downloaded BART PE and I want to install a whole load of network card drivers... Now I have went to driverpacks.net and downloaded the lan drivers and then extracted using winrar and placed into the drivers folder for bart pe. When building the disc I get 18 errors saying it cannot find the files. Is there anywhere else that I can get a bulk load of drivers to import? Thanks

Hi Guy's, I need to add a new font to all domain computers. I have created a batch file with the following: copy \\SERVER AND FILE PATH\FONT NAME.ttf c:\windows\fonts I have added this into the computer startup but it does not copy the font over... Any ideas?! Thanks!

thanks guy's. ok think i am having a bit of a moment!... i have went with cd new media as recommended. i have uploaded the joomla files to the httpdocs folder and went to domainname.co.uk , but the installation for joomla has not appeared? any ideas?! thanks!

I need a script that just details the following: Make: Model: Computer Name: Serial Number: Dell Service Tag (If it is a Dell machine): Service Pack Version: Internet Explorer Version: Date and Time Last Checked: The service pack and internet explorer version is not essential but would be very handy if its possible! Does anyone know of any easy way to get this into a script or does anyone have a vb script that I could use? Thanks in advance!

ok i will have another look at joomla and hosting with cs new media. eventually if i do get my head around it can i setup a login page so that students can log into the website and have access to like a blog type area?! if so how hard is it to do this?!

ok thanks, i will look into that. who do you recommend for web hosting and domain names also? we would probably also look to buy a .co.uk domain name.

Thanks for the help guy's... I will take another look at joomla...it just seemed a bit complicated at getting new pages up and then putting info on them and getting the pages to look how they should. Who do you recommend for hosting? DOes anyone know of any free hosting sites for now so that I could have a play?

Hi Guy's, I am wanting to build a new website for the school that I work in. Now currently they have a very basic HTML website that has been made within sharepoint. We want to re-vamp that and make it a really nice looking and updated website. Something that is child friendly. I have had a play with joomla using the freee 30 day try with the cloud access but it seems very difficult if I am completely honest! Does anyone know of any other programs that I could look at or where I could find a template for free that I could use? Thanks in advance!
