  1. I'm sure Capita are only covering all the bases with their response and as you say it's a bit overkill. As long as it works for the people who need it then I'm happy. I'm glad there's other people to ask questions to though and not having to rely on the support we pay for as it took them about 3 weeks to answer....... Thanks again for your help John

  4. The Data Manager is having an issue with reports. New or unalterred reports are showing fine, but after editing a report, the next time you open it, it only shows the template design and any formula used to input the information and not the details of the student. We use Office 2007 and it seems to happened after the Summer upgrade not before. Anyone had this issue and got it resolved?
  5. Sorry for being thick but how exactly do I do that?
  6. My original site now works when I add /default.aspx. Why not without?
  7. I get this program cannot display the webpage

  10. Hi I think that IIS is working okay. Since running config wizard the sharepoint central administration page works. It didn't last week? but still no main sharepoint pages. The default web site on IIS gives the usual under construction message.
  11. Hi Yes all services are running. Tried running config wizard, tried changing IIS setting to run as Local System as suggested on a sharepoint blog, but no joy. John
  12. I've recently updated the server (2003 server) and Sharepoint has stopped working. All I get now is website declined to show this page. I've tried various things already posted on the internet but still no joy. Any suggestions more than welcome.
  13. I'm setting up a help desk part within Sharepoint 2007 but can't get the email alert working. We use Google Mail. Does anyone know how to set up alerts with Google? Any help appreciated. John
