Hi What about the microsoft media services (I have been using this for about 8 years) it part of server 2000 and (unfortunatley in 2003 its part of server enterprise only). Reasonably easy to setup, $0 price works great on a network (need a pc and a mike) depending on your bandwidth works great on the internet.

Hi There is an adobe technote that I found, basically it made an administrative deployment of the existing msi from the cd. I have deployed v8 using the instructions and it worked. The only issue was to also deploy the registration files to all users which I did using a script. If you email me I will find the tech note for you. (I did a google serach for deploy macromedia studio 8 via group policy I think) regards John A

Hi Everyone We have just purchased a site license for Ulead Media studio pro V8 and I have come across 2 issues so far. 1. How can a make an msi to deploy across the network using Microsoft group policy and 2. Can I can the defualt location of where the video is stored when I do a capture from the default my documents (currently redirected to a server share for each user) to a default location on the c drive for all users.
