It says Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

Is there a way to test out and see if its static or dynamic? (im on a mac)

I have a dir-655 router that wont let me forward any ports. I put in the application name and the port in both the tcp and udp boxes. Then I put my ip address in the ip address box. After i check the box and press save. After the reboot all the settings are gone. The router wont save anything I try. Can anyone help?
