We have this same issue, iMovies and Final Cut Express import fine. I have this feeling it has something to do with whether audio is monitored whilst recording; I am going to check today when I get down to the suite. Edit: It appears to be due to the pre-roll being set to 2 seconds; I'll post back if the problem occurs again!
