Thanks for the help Chris. I am using the laptop screen not a monitor and when i go into the device manager when the problem happens it says that the graphics card is not working as it has a problem which is why i assumed the graphics card to be the problem. I will look at an external option as suggested. By the way, what does TBH mean???

Please help. I have a 5 year old AJP D900T laptop with a Nvidia 6800 go graphics card which has started to fail every now and then putting yellow/orange lines all over the screen. Can anyone tell me if i can purchase a replacement Nvidia card or an alternative??
