  1. Thanks for your quick response. I will modify the monitoring directory and feedback to you
  2. I am stumped with this. Sequencing Google Chrome is proving problematic, the shortcut seems to be pointing to the C drive instead of Q as suggested by the program. I have read other threads about configuring Google Chrome but nothing relates to my problem. It just refuses to work. Can someone help please?
  3. I have resolved this.
  4. Hi, I am new to HAP, I have installed and followed the guide thoroughly but I can't seem to find where I am going wrong. The setup page loads up but there is an X cross next to "Services Activated". When I run a api test (https://localhost/HAP/api/setup/help), I get the error message below. Please help. I'm running server 2003 SP2 and IIS 6.0. Also the other tabs on the set-up page will not click (I have tried all the browsers, I primarily use firefox). PLEASE HELP! Server Error in '/HAP' Application. Configuration Error Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately. Parser Error Message: Configuration endpoint extension 'standardEndpoints/standardEndpoint' could not be found. 5. Brill! Cheers
  6. I've just done
  7. This doesn't sound strange at all, typical!
  8. I am trying to make it as comprehensive as possible because it will be going to the Governors as well. I hear what you say about focusing it more on services but my governors are more particular about equipment cost. Do you mind sending me a format of the previous ones you've written?
  9. Okay.. sounds like it. If you don't mind, PM your format, just how you've composed it. Cheers
  10. Hmm, do you actually put what sort of specs (model/make etc) you might be going for? Also cost estimates of future equipment?
  11. Yes, I very much understand it's school specific. Any ideas would be appreciated and maybe a format of the write-up
  12. Would anyone be kind to share their sample of a 3-year IT development plan please?
  13. I nearly had a heart attack there.... I suppose we have no choice now
  14. We urgently need help setting up our behaviour module in SIMS as it has never been used. Does anyone have an idea how much CAPITA would charge per day to send a consultant in?
  15. Thanks.
  16. Thanks Sukh
  17. You have set it so students only see themselves. How do they go about emailing their form tutors? Did you allow for this to happen in your environment?
  18. Cheers... I take it this only works with Exchange 2010? Have you also adopted this at your school?
  19. It will be glad to get some support on how you achieved it. Exchange 2007. I've also got Exchange 2010 set up if that's easier.
  20. Hi When we initially set up our Exchange Server, we did not set up email accounts for students. We have now decided to go this route for the POST 16 students. I have created their email accounts and have set up a different storage group. However, I don't want the students to be able to see the global address list (i.e. all staff names and email distribution groups), instead I would like them to see departments and form tutors email addresses only Is there a way this can be done? I know I can hide names in the GAL however this will prevent staff emailing other staff.
