  1. Hello, We are having an issue with our macbooks here in the school. The laptops can connect to one of our wireless routers, but they don't have the passwords from the other 2. Is there a way, using remote desktop to put the wireless keys for the other routers on the computers and have them accessible to our network users who log into the laptops? Thanks, Shane
  2. We're experiencing the exact same problem since upgrading to Snow Leopard. When the students attempt to save to their Windows 2003 home directories the file saves but instantly becomes "read only". They then aren't allowed to save, only 'save as' with a new name. Additionally, if they attempt to open another document on the server it too becomes read-only. Furthermore, if they save to the desktop and then drag and drop into the server, they get a permissions error. However, the file does actually copy to the server, despite the error. Using Open Office fixes this issue. Open Office is able to save to the server without any issues.
  3. Hi, Thanks guys. We did deselect the "merge" option. I should mention this is in a "Golden Triangle" scenario. So, there are no individual or computer level settings. There are only groups in the OD Master with users coming from the AD. Do you mean that each machine has the dock items enabled? I'm not familiar with where I would go at the machine level to determine dock preferences for network users?! Shane
  4. Hello, We currently have a OD-AD Triangle set up. We are having an issue with the Dock preferences for users. We are specifying in WGM exactly the icons we want to show up in the student docks. This is working. Except, behind the icons we've specified the students are still getting a few icons that that we have not specified (that I suppose the local machines are putting there). How can we avoid this and only have the icons we specify in WGM show up? Thanks! Shane
