so the scoring of grades in P8 will go G=1 to A* = 8 Does anyone know how set in stone this is or if it could change?

Ok, I feel obliged (and foolish) to update that on Go4Schools, our English Literature subject had an English Language qualification attached to it by mistake which was why G4S was correctly using this grade.

I'm a bit confused as to which English grade to use in a transition matrix. Mine currently uses Eng Lang or English - whichever the student is doing. But I've noticed that Go4Schools uses the Eng Lit grade if this is higher than English Lang. RaiseOnline states it uses "English GCSE or English language and English literature" grade which I took to mean "Use English Language only if they're doing Eng Lit as well", not "Use the higher of English Language and English Literature" Would be grateful if anyone could clarify? J

We use Go4Schools (which is online) for staff to record data. For reporting, SLT have quite specific requirements so I export the data into excel and have my own spreadsheet templates.

I'm new to the role and I'm calculating the progress of current year 11. We are looking at % who make 3 or 3+ levels progress so I'm not sure that this matters as it doesn't affect those headline figures but I was interested.... Is it possible to make negative progress? e.g. KS2 Level 4 should get a C... C= 3 levels progress D=2 LP E=1 LP F=0 LP G= -1 ???

Hi In a previous life, I used to work as a software developer (MCSD) but then took a longggggg career break to have kids. Now I'm thinking of retraining to do IT Support in schools. I'm looking at doing a Comptia A+ course. Would this get me an entry-level job in a school? Any advice gratefully received... J
