I've just finished a degree in Computing, and currently on the search for a job in Birmingham.
For the past 3-4 months I've been applying non-stop for any IT job - from web designer to ICT technician.
I had an interview for a ICT technician post at a local school to me, and it was the perfect job/hours. I was in the top 2 candidates, but in the end it went to someone with experience in schools (currently I've only been working in small businesses).
Some feedback from the interview suggested that I get some experience (as at the moment no-one will touch me; 1 year work placement, and 1 year part time to date), but unfortunately I can't find anything.
I'm willing to do some voluntary work for a couple of days a week to get my experience up, is there anyone on the boards that can help me?
I'm located in north Birmingham (M6 J7) and have a car.
