Hi can anyone help me with a strange one. We've changed our school status as of September so now have sixth form and want to use the EMA module in sims. When we go into it it picks up our year 11 students, year 14 students but not year 12 or 13? Does anyone know any reason why it might do this? i've looked at the academic structure and pastoral structure to see if there were any differences for these years that might mean it wouldn't work but can't see anything. So the administrator is having to manually process all EMA payments at the moment which is a headache and time consuming. any thoughts much appreciated

Hi josh, it won't let me pm you back. yes we use a similar format so student exam numbers our post 16 students are 5000 or 4000. we then don't need to split it out more than that as everything on one site is pre 16 so 7000 or 8000 and all post 16 is on the other site. hope that makes sense. thanks Emma

Hey LosOjos did you ever get anywhere with splitting out the submission files, cos i think i've just stumbled apon a problem for my split site entries for January. We need to send off entry files for both sites entries for Jan exams but as there is only one lot of base data for both pre 16 and post 16 it will only create one entry file, therefore i cant change the centre number in the school set up when i create the file as its only going to make 1 per exam board! love to know if you managed to figure it out. thanks

Thanks LosOjos i'm glad i'm not the only one in this situation. thats what we'll have to do then. Do you know if we need to change the centre number when we create the markheets or just when the entries are being added to them? thanks Emma

Can anyone help me with this please. We have taken over the running of a 6th form college which is 10 miles away, the QCDA have advised us to keep separate centre numbers for exams however we run our system on sims accross both sites. How then can i go about doing entries via edi that come from each of the sites with different centre numbers? I can see that if i change the centre number in exams organiser that seems to work with issuing students uci's for that centre but is that the only way? do i need to change the centre number in the school set up each time we want to send entries for one of the sites? any ideas? thanks
