We are looking at rolling out a wireless network to cover our entire site of about 2000 users. The problem that we have is how to support the very high density of users that we are looking at using a 2.4Ghz (ie g) based network, given the number of over lapping APs is restricted to 3. I belive that a solution is possiable using 802.11a technology and I have seen some references to solutions using ap controllers. However I am interested to hear from anyone using a controler based system about how well things work with a large number (150-200 or more) users in a small area.
