Thank everyone. So I buy a new charger, and I did a battery reset, it showed some life then turned back off...sometimes this works and sometimes it doesent.

Hello everyone, I have a advent laptop that gradually has shut down and now I cant get any power or life at all. I It was working for a short while on safe mode but it packed up to. There are no power lights on anymore. I've tried taking the battery out and power and holding the button for 30 seconds but this did not work. Can anyone suggest something? Kind Regards, Miles

Hello, I thought I would add another post because I know you guys are very helpful! Does anyone know where I can find Recovery Discs for Toshiba Equium L40-10x? I need to re-install the operating system which is Windows Vista Home. As I bought a new hard drive for it. Can I just use a normal Windows Vista Disc? Kind Regards, Miles

Hmm... Its strange because when I took it apart I could press around the screen and it would work for a bit. Could it be loose connections inside the screen>

Hello everyone, Someone has given me there laptop to fix. It is a Toshiba Equium P200D-139. When I turn the laptop on half of the screen is grey with coloured lines in between. I thought this was loose connections so I opened it up, but no luck. When I touch the sides of the laptop it seems to work or at least have half the colour. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Miles

It's in a school, not everyone can be pressing ctrl and w, even I saw it. That is deffiantly not the problem.

Hello, Everytime I search something in Internet Explorer on Google. As I'm typing it will suddenly close Internet Explorer, can anyone help? I am using RM CC3 and it's on IE6+7. I have already done the usual checks, searching for spyware and viruses. We have the latest updates of virus scanners. It happens on newly built machines. Kind Regards, Miles
