  1. Ric, it has to be live, we've been using Windows Media Encoder and more recently Epression encoder for some time to create training style demos, but thats not what i'm looking for in this instance. iTalc, works really well on XP systems, i've not had much joy at all under Vista or 7, and because of its vnc nature, it tends to be a bit laggy even on a fast network, but it is a great product and a bit further into its development under vista/7 (more 7 :-) ) it will do the job. Anyone any views on lanschool? i've spoken with the sales guys and can get an extended trial (always useful to us techies in education as generally we're juggling lots of projects at the same time).
  2. Years ago, we used netmeeting to send the teachers screen to the students desktops, but as with most technology in universities the staff evolved back to standard projectors, whiteboards etc I now think that there is a requirement for something like netmeeting again, however, it looks as though modern incarnations Meeting Space etc have a limit of up to 10 concurrent users, I have 20pc's per lab. I am looking for an application that can share the whole screen or an individual app of the teachers station to the students desktops. Desktops Windows 7 Enterprise. And anything native ms (might be part of the select agreement, or our msdnaa) or open source has priority over a commercial product. Would love to hear your ideas, I can supply more information if necessary.
