  1. Using the 1.5 Edugeek template, I want to put a horizontal menu directly below the slideshow i.e. User1 position. Has anyone any ideas for a nice simple clean menu system? Had a look around for some modules but not that convinced. Perhaps someone can suggest something or even better show me an example?
  2. I would like to be able to incorporate a classroom and equipment booking system into my joomla 1.5 site. I have looked at using a form, but all the best form modules and components cost and I would rather not pay for something unless unavoidable. Has anyone create one in joomla or has anyone any ideas?
  3. Are you getting my PMs? not sure if they are sending
  4. Moving the breadcrumb position does sound like an idea. What CSS file would I need to edit to do this? I have never created any modules before nor edited their positions so if you have any help on this I would very much appreciate it. Thanks
  5. Thats exactly it. In fact I might later move to splitting up that one long box in several smaller ones, but for now that will do. How do I make it?
  6. If you take a look at my website Welcome to Wiham Hall Preparatory School I want to add the box to the right of the latest events module box. So it would be under the home page article. Could you guide me through how I do this?
  7. Thank you, but the code in the index file doesn't let you adjust its position (I think). What file do I need to do this? Is it a CSS file? if so, which one? Thanks
  8. I want to change the position of the User2 module position in the 1.5 Joomla package, but I can't seem to find the file to do it. Can anyone help?
  9. I am going to set up a new school website which will hopefully have various user groups e.g. public users, staff, pupils and parents. For each user group some of the information will be unique to them. For staff, I might decide to put information from INSETs on it or for parents, the latest photos from a sports event etc... I really don't know much about SSL, but I was wondering if it is a security feature that would be necessary and useful to have on a school site where for some information, it would be important that it was kept safe. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. I have just installed the Joomla 1.5 Edugeek project as I intend to develop my schools new website using it. I would however like to create 3 main different areas for the website: Pupils, parents and public. The pupils and parents areas would be restricted to certain users and therefore I need to know how to allow say only pupils to log into their section, but then not be able to gain access to the parents area and so forth. Can this be done in joomla?
