Just curious, do any schools use a Digital Asset Management product for storage and cataloguing of Photographs that are taken by staff e.g. on school trips, events etc. I know it would be a massive undertaking to catalogue the existing images! Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Does anyone have Sony Virtuoso? Our languages department has put in a request for it plus 25 Intel Atom N455 based Netbooks for the kids to use it on. The question I have is, is a single core Intel Atom and 1Gb of RAM up to the task of running the Virtuoso client? Another concern for me is that we don't yet have a managed wireless network, just a single access point in Modern Languages that would need to provide network connectivity for the 25 netbooks, would network bandwidth be an issue? Any input gratefully received!

We've been trying to implement the algebra filter on our moodle site (hosted on a shared server by an external hosting company). Surprise - it doesn't work. If you go to http:///filter/algebra/algebradebug.php and run the first stage translation this is what you get: There is a problem with either Perl or the script algebra2tex.pl The shell command cd /var/www/vhosts//httpdocs/filter/algebra; ./algebra2tex.pl x/2 returned status = The file permissions of algebra2tex.pl are: 100755 Does anyone here have a clue what this means?
